Jaigarh Fort The Jaigarh Fort on the hills above the Amber Palace complex offers stunning views of the foothills of the Aravalli range, as well as attractions such as immense underground water-storage tanks, and what is reputed to be the world’s largest cannon. Hawa Mahal – This is a series of pink sandstone screens that was constructed so that the ladies of the palace could watch the royal processions without themselves being seen by outsiders. The City Palace – Covering almost one seventh of the city, it has been mostly converted into a museum, except for a small portion used by the Jaipur Royal Family as a residence.
